We carry a large variety of spectacle frames, ranging from budget styles (provided free to those entitled to an NHS voucher) to the latest designer frames at highly competitive prices.

When your glasses are ready, they will be expertly fitted by one of our dispensing opticians or trained clinical assistants. Many of our assistants have undergone training so they fully understand the problems experienced by those suffering from low vision and ways in which they can be helped.

Care or residential homes

The Eye Clinic understand that Care Home managers need a visiting optician who will call to provide individual eye tests and eye health services as new residents are admitted. We take the pain out of organising tests for groups of residents, handling enquiries from residents and relatives respecting their dignity and wishes.

Eye care service standards

We abide by a code of practice to ensure everyone receives the best eye care at home, at every stage of the service.

The Eye Clinic will:

• provide high quality, personalised and professional eye care and optical services at home which respect the patient’s dignity and wishes at all times
• utilise suitable portable equipment to enable the optometrist to deliver the best possible eye care
• undertake to provide comprehensive aftercare and free delivery of glasses
